Legoland!

A trip to LEGOLAND with My Two Homes? Yes, please!

The excitement leading up to our September adventure was absolutely contagious. We left early on a Saturday morning and made our way to LEGOLAND in Goshen, NY, full of anticipation (and coffee). From the moment we walked through Miniland, jaws dropped. The incredible LEGO creations sparked curiosity and conversation right away — it was the perfect start to our day.

Of course, all that exploring worked up an appetite, so we stopped for lunch at Pirate’s Cove before heading off for rides. We laughed our way through the park — including a water ride that left us all just a little wetter than expected! From there, we explored LEGO City and took in a 4D movie experience, then made our way to LEGO Castle, where the roller coaster became an instant favorite. Let’s just say we rode it more than once… or twice. NINJAGO World was our final stop in the park, and it did not disappoint.

But the fun didn’t end when the park closed. Staying overnight at the hotel was a whole new adventure. We ordered room service, piled into one room in our pajamas, and shared pizza and popcorn together. The kids were buzzing from the day, and it took a while for everyone to wind down — the kind of happy exhaustion that comes from a full, joyful day.

At My Two Homes, creating these shared experiences is what it’s all about. When children and parents navigating divorce have the chance to laugh, play, and make memories together, something powerful happens. Kids build friendships with peers who understand their world. Parents connect with others who are walking a similar path and can offer empathy, perspective, and support. Together, we create moments of lightness and joy that remind us all that even during times of transition, fun and connection are still very much possible.

We can’t wait for the next adventure.
